Term 2. Entry 5. My note taking experience

Note taking helps us to maintain information we had listened. When we review the material, make tests we can rely on noted information. I usually follow these rules during note taking:
I don’t try to write down every detail because listening carefully is more important. I keep notes in safe place and to write down the first and the last things the teacher said, some lists of comparison and superlatives. Also teacher will ask next lesson the idea he or she repeats, any idea that is written on the board. I pay attention any idea the teacher gets excited about, describes with unusual or distinctive expression and anything she tells to write down. Comparing my notes with my friends’ can improve my notes. I summarize each lecture in 5-9 sentences as soosn as possible and review 5-10 minutes each day.
That was my note taking experience. I’m sure it will help me everywhere I have to study.

Term 2. Entry 4. How well do I use Ms Word and Ms Excel.

Nowadays Ms Word and Ms Excel programs are so widely used all over the World. Because, they are very comfortable, easy to use and have so many opportunities.
I often use them, especially Ms Word. This year I have learned creating most kinds of documents that I can most instruments. It is easy to open, close, edit, copy, post, save, change type and size, color, shape of shrift. To count something, make tables, working with diagrams, registers and formulas Ms Excel is more comfortable. Now I can add, multiply or divide thousands of numeral information in a little time. Also it is possible for me to define maximum, minimum, average, percentage, ratio, squares of numbers.
I learned much but to tell the truth there is plenty to learn in Ms Excel and Word. For example Visual Basic, I’m going to learn Visual Basic.

Term 2. Entry 3. My test taking experience

The most common way to measure the gained knowledge is test examinations. At school, college, university I have to take tests. I’ve gained a little experience at taking tests. Before test I should find out as much as possible about test asking from instructor or examining the previous test examinations. As soon as I get papers I don’t begin. I prefer to preview it, read instructions; how many types of questions, try to schedule them fast. I always must be prepared. When I’m taking test I usually use “Triage Method”: dividing tests into three groups: “probables” (easy), “possibles” (not easy and demands thinking), “long shots” (no idea). “Probables” are solved first, “possibles” second and “long shots” third.
There are many types of tests: “True/false statements”, “Multiple choice questions”, “Essay questions”, “Short answers questions”. I’ve learned how to take them or the methods that can help and I realized that the most important one is being ready and prepared.

Term 2. Entry 2. My Wiki Page Experience

I created a page I IELTE wiki space about Stadiums in Tashkent with Islom. I can say that it was interesting to visit the Stadiums, gaining information and taking photos. We went the central Pakhtakor Stadium and JAR Stadium took photos of the stadiums and thousands of football fans. It took half week to gain information and posting it. While I was looking for information I’ve gotten much facts and information about my topic. I had been invited to join IELTE wiki, I joined and got registered. First I didn’t know how to use it but my group mates Munis and Dilafruz helped me. Now I can use and publish some information. Nevertheless I’m not able to use it well; I hope during such kind of new posts I’ll learn how to use it. I liked Wiki Space program and try to use it regularly.
